THE AMERICAN

George Clooney abandons his usual charming persona as he portrays an aging 'Hit Man' and we get to see the bones of this very fine actor. Slow moving and stunningly filmed in austere Sweden and lush Italy, the story has plenty of adrenalin moments, but mostly moves on the unrelenting vigilance and introspection reflected on George's face.
