King Christian VII turns out to be far from the prince of his English brides' dreams. He is pretty much insane. Base on a true story of 17th Century Denmark, this remarkable story shows how the horrible living conditions of the country are improved by the advice by the king's attending physician. Although the doctor betrays the King romantically, he becomes his only true friend.
