According to Bill Maher, the name of this film is a portmanteau derived from the words 'religion' and 'ridiculous'. That pretty much sums up Mahar's assault on the adherence by the world's main religions to outdated and preposterous metaphors. This film is funny and refreshing to me, but will undoubtly be offensive to many.
