Q’Orianka Kilcher's performance as Pocahontas is special. It is easy to be distracted from the flaws in this movie by her graceful movements, her sacred appreciation makes everything important and beautiful. The cinematography is stunning and becomes a visual poem for her gestures. The story was nicely slow moving, given that it is an American film, that is almost miraculous.
