Philippe Petit’s mischievous assault on the World Trade Center Towers plays as a love note delivered from the innocence of the 1970’s. Director James Marsh wisely allows the impish Frenchman and his motley crew to act out the story of their clandestine scheme to have Mr. Petit walk on a wire between the roofs of the twin towers. This is a thoroughly delightful showing of how it was done.
