Henry has been diagnosed with a fatal disease and plans to spend his final days languishing in alcohol oblivion in his childhood suburban neighborhood. His planned demise is interrupted by the frenzy surrounding the perceived appearance of Christ’s image in the repaired plaster of his new house and his petulant acceptance of the blessings that come from it.
