A destitute American mother with two children and an absentee husband, join an even more necessitous woman from a Mohawk Reservation in Canada to smuggle Illegal’s over the border in a desperate attempt to keep her family together and meet the balloon payments on their dream; a double-wide trailer. In the bleak, rural setting of their dangerous game, we see an unsentimental view of integrity surviving in poverty.
