An unemployed cellist, unwittingly takes a job in the 'Encoffinment' business. (Apparently, encoffinment is different from undertaking; it refers to the ritualistic ceremony of cleaning and presenting a corpse, done completely in front of the deceased family) His perception of this practice is transformed from utter repudiation to total embracement with the aid of his employer, a master in the art. The star of the film gives a tender performance and the acting by all is excellent.
