Perry Mason's Women

Perry Mason's television series debut on September 21, 1957 shot a prophetic serum under my skin. For nine years the potency of the jab coursed through my veins. I was smitten with masculine resonant voices with devious intent and sly, sultry women in form fitting dresses. I fell freshly in love from the first Saturday night. I was 10.

I've devoted this page as my homage to Perry's femme fatales. I'll forever love those women with satiny voices murmuring prurient promises. After more than sixty years the charm of these ladies still has a punch. I also love the show for giving me a license for the shameless use of alliterations.

As you browse this page you may likely, if you're of a certain age, recall an innocent thrill from the past. May anyone who remembers an episode find a friendly ghost among the gallery.
